Section AI tutor
Moodle plugin that puts a Claude-powered tutor on each course section. It teaches from that section's content and checks learning with real quiz questions a teacher releases for practice. The server grades every answer, and the tutor never sees the correct ones.

Why it exists
When a teacher enables the tutor in a course, each section shows an AI button that opens a chat drawer. The tutor stays within that section: if a question goes beyond it, the tutor says so and steers back to the material.
It won't do graded work. Students get hints and guiding questions, not assignment, forum, or quiz answers. It replies in the language the student writes in, and the interface comes in English and Spanish.

Answers stay on the server
The server grades every practice answer. Correct answers are never shown, and the tutor never sees them.
Practice is separate
Teachers choose which quizzes can be used for practice. It doesn't count as a quiz attempt or affect grades.
Closed during quizzes
The tutor is unavailable while a student has a quiz in progress in that course.
Course content is data
Text in the material can't give the tutor instructions, and these core rules can't be changed in the settings.
